Besame Cosmetics

So, even though I have known about the company for many years now, I've never actually had the chance to try any of their products untill recently. Really? Is a question you might be asking your self at this point, but yes it's true. I have only recently had the chance to try it. And I don't think I would've either if it wasn't for a wonderful lady that insisted that I did. It was with a recent purchase from her Esty store, that she sent me a bunch of Besame products to try since we have had many a conversation about me never trying their stuff. Now once I did try their stuff, I must say I fell in love. The lipsticks went on so smoothly and they were just the right shades for my skin tone. They were prefect!

Now I honestly have always been a MAC cosmetics girl, myself. I have always used it on a daily basis and even for my photo shoots. I have never had a problem with it, never a break out, nothing! Most of their products are reasonably priced and they always have whatever you need in stock, and are always very helpful if there is something you're not sure about.

So, if you do get the chance, I know some of Besame's prices can get a little bit crazy, but I highly recommend you try their products. You honestly won't be disappointed. And one thing I love the most about their products is that it has a vintage feel and is made with the 1940's/1950's in mind. I know I have chanced to using their products on a daily basis for that vintage look.

P.S. And be sure to let me know if any of you out there have tried it, and what your thoughts are on the products.!

Thanks

Summertime fun girl

Yes, I have been a very busy girl lately. I decided with my move to start doing what I really love doing aside from collecting and wearing vintage, and that's vintage modeling. I'm not sure why I love doing it so much. Maybe it's the fun in creating something pretty or just being able to share some of my amazing vintage finds with the rest of the world. I'm really not sure. But I'm very glad that I have had to chance to do it. So, once I moved here a photographer got in touch with me asking to do some photos, and I couldn't pass it up.

I had decided to go with a summer theme since it is summer and all. Well, at least it has been here with all this 100 degree weather we've been having lately. So, I grabbed my vintage swimsuits and accessories and I was ready to have a great old time. And in the end, this is what Alvin Johnson (the photographer) and I came up with.
